We currently have Dish Network in our house up north and I'd like to use their "Dish Mover" program to put it in our CYV when we move down later this year. It currently has Comcast in all 3 BR's and the main living area.

I'm assuming -- perhaps wrongly -- that most properties in TV are wired for Comcast cable also. That being the case, I was wondering if the Dish Network installers leveraged that cabling or if they had to pull new wires for your install?

As background info, I plan on using the same boxes we have up north -- a dual-tuner HD box for 2 BR's and the dual-tuner HD DVR to connect the living room and 3rd BR (computer room).

Lastly, just wondering where the installers located your dish? I've seen a couple of properties for sale with pics of a dish in their backyards and also recall a couple of threads where folks mentioned dishes on their roofs. Does one have to get permission from TV to put it on your roof?
