I know this is not very scientific, but propaganda never really is. Last night I watched a television show called Law and Order Special Victims. The last few years this has been one of the very few quality drama shows that we have found. As some of you know it is produced by NBC which most people know, has a left-leaning agenda.
Last night's show was about a pre-mature birth of a baby that had many physical problems. To make a long story short they were shouting to the audience that it was going to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep a baby alive that will need medical $$$ attention the rest of it's life.

The show ended with the doctor asking the cop(they made the legal guardian) if they should perform life-saving brain surgery on the 4 month premature baby. The camera stayed on the cop's face until the show ended without a decision.

What am I leading up to? Are they putting these things in our subconscious so gradually we will not be shocked in the future? Will we go down the slippery slope? Will we be shocked one day but take it for granted the next day?
