I cannot answer the questions about longevity, but I have played it a few times ?2? years ago. I played the back tees those days and memory says the course is "ok". Not great conditioned, but greens were not bad then. I remember the draw for us was we had two guests here and saw an ad for 18 holes with cart, lunch and a soda for $25 in paper. They pay $50 each here even as priority guests

If you see that ad in paper, IMO it is well worth the trip to find out for your self....
