I understand completely, Kathie....I'm from CA, also. The weather here is weather...we had good weather just about all of the time on the west coast.
You do have a weather radio I hope. Today it was like a symphony....going off and off, then phone calls from the emergency response alert system, emergency weather alerts on tv and then thunder and rain. We got no hail in my area of Caroline.
