The notifications might not be official at all. People might be getting notifications from a group desiring to protest against any pipeline and hoping to scare homeowners into joining them. The actual notification might clear this up but you haven’t seen it and I suspect most of us have not either.

According to the official web site of Sabal Trail Transmission, LLC, they are seeking to extend and expand their existing natural gas pipeline from Alabama to central Florida. The extension actually travels West from Al to Ms and will have no effect on Fl. The expansion involves placing a second pipeline along the same path, as much as possible, as their existing pipeline. According to the timeline shown on their web site, June, July and August of this year were for landowner engagement, introduction and requesting survey permissions. So, it would not be surprising that someone has received some type of document regarding the pipeline.
