The first one is excellent. I say that because it says almost exactly the same things I said in my initial post in this thread. And it happens to be a link that I have never read! But it tells the story very well, including the statement..."Finding the answer to this problem is not going to be easy. The second link is also an excellent place to begin understanding where our government spends (our) money and in what amounts. The page has all sorts of additonal links that you can follow to learn more detail about the federal budget, spending and debt.

Both links are excellent "finds" and I would recommend everyone read them. Good "finds", BK!
