This really summarizes what the whole issue is about. The president's ego has made the issue about him....and his presidency. It is not first and foremost about what's best for the country in the context of hard economic times, it is not about cost savings, deficit reduction, care for the elderly and infirmed, insurance hikes, or all the other talking points you have heard.
It comes down to one selfish objective. Obama's presidency and legacy.
