If there were someone else traveling with me, I know I could do it with 1 night on the road. Since I will be driving alone, I am only good for about 8 hours max a day. When I drove down with my sister in 2008, we did it non-stop with no problem since there were 2 of us to drive. I am not fond of driving and realize it is a means to an end. I'm just looking for alternatives to make the trip a bit shorter for me.
