Congratulations to the majority of Democrats and the Administration who stayed the course and completed the initial structure of health care reform. The millions spent to apply unprecedented pressure from special interests and the fear mongers who stirred up irrational arguments were, for once, not enough to stop a critical step forward for this nation.
Also, the Executive Order eliminating abortion funding and the 'fixes' make this first reform package even better than most of us thought could ever be accomplished by this Congress.
My faith in the system has been buoyed up for the first time in a long time.
