Not unusual ............
That is not unusual around here. I went to half a dozen area bakeries looking for just pecan rolls. Not only did they not have any, some places didn't even know what they were (Publix, Fresh Market).
Couple places tried to sell me "sticky buns". Like I didn't know the difference. I could understand Potica', it's only known mostly in the midwest I believe (I may be wrong as Russ says). My sister always makes us a few loaves and sends it to us in time for Easter breakfast. A tradition in out house from before our Grandmother's time. Toasted Potica' with butter and coffee. Ahhhhhhhhh!
