I'm a southern girl. I lived in Rhode Island for a couple of years. The fabulous food helped me teach my tastebuds to appreciate real Italian food. I had my first biscotti a few years ago. Yummie. When I saw this post, I had to Google Italian Easter wheat bread (sorry). OMG, I'd pay good money for that or any other good Italian food. The first time I asked for prosciutto at a deli in Rhode Island, they had to bring three people from the back to interpret what I'd said. My hubbie, a Yankee, knows all about good eats. BUT, on the other hand, I had to teach him to appreciate some good southern dishes.
