Seems that the focus around here is always about raising taxes. As with a household budget, you try to trim the expenses because you do not have the option of getting a raise when you need it.
During a recession, most companies trim their fat by cutting expenses and reducing their payroll.
Government does everything backwards by adding to their payroll and demanding a raise.(taxes)
