He knows in this day and age of permissive pacifism, and Obama's persistant olive branch, that nobody is going to do anything to threaten his existence. Hence he can play chicken, and the media eats it up, with nothing to lose.

He is a bluff just like Sodam Insane, Omar Kadafi and all the rest of the also rans who want to ride the coat tails of the US in it's paper tiger mode.

They are watching what we don't do in Iraq and Afghanistan and know they can literally get away with anything they please.
