Please tell me what company y'all use IF YOUR HAPPY with your company that is.
Maybe Phone Number and Agent name.

Tell that agent he doesn't know what he's talking about. Here's the site to go to, to get quotes from many companies doing HO insurance in Florida:
http://www.shopandcomparerates.com/HOCompareRates.htm This is a state run website and is usually up to date. Rates are for a standard size/value house and you use the rates as comparison only. Each county has its own "risk factor".
Where insurance companies make their money is on auto insurance, that's why they advertise for auto but not homeowners. The state keeps the companies from gouging homeowners by approving rate increases (e.g. State Farm fiasco). Get a wind mitigation inspection for the best discounts. Company's website will give you agent locations.
Travelers Insurance does business in Florida as "First Floridian", a wholly owned company that prevents Travelers from going bankrupt if hurricanes wipe out many of their Florida clients in one year.
Good luck.
