I belive that both Donna and SallyJo are correct in their statments on the WMD in Iraq.

What I am more concerned with is what APPEARS to me to be confusing policy from the US toward the area.

I say APPEARS because in foreign affairs, many times there are things going on in the background that is not available for public consumption.

There seems to be more emphasis placed on insuring that Israel toes the line and for example stops the construction in Jerusalem than on Iran who spouts and huffs and puffs and continues to make advances of some kind with nuclear weapons.

I do know that a number of Democrats have publicly stated their concern about this administrations posture toward Israel.
