For what it's worth, my employer (a defense contractor) has announced that they are expanding our health care benefits at no additional costs.

Improvements include covering kids up to age 26 *without* the Obamacare-rule that they have to live at home with their parents (or be enrolled full time in college).

In addition, they are investigating whether or not stepkids qualify under the new federal guidelines.
