We can drive to any doctor in the area, but would prefer to start with the one we would stay with for many years to come.
Dr. Fox seems competent and the prices seem about average for this area. Our dog has broken a nail twice since we got him and we had to go in to get it taken care of. They do not give him anything to handle the pain so I have heard him in quite a bit of pain while they cut it up high. I do not know if this is standard vet behavior but it is hard to go through. Of course, there is the charge involved in giving him something while he is getting his nail cut in the quick.

They did put him under when cleaning his teeth which now runs around $250.

He got bit by another dog badly about 34 months ago and they got him into see the vet right away. I was in to see the vet as soon as I got there by car. She did a good job treating our dog.

They do not have services available at night or during the weekend which is a problem though. You have to call an emergency vet on such an occasion. Believe the closest associated with Village Vet is in Leesburg. http://www.meowandbowwow.com/contact.shtml
