Friends and neighbors who have had their pets seen by local veterinarians have reported LARGE bills for somewhat commonplace and not risky procedures and ENORMOUS bills for surgery and procedures requiring sedation. Now I know that everything has gone up, but I am concerned that there is no way to evalute these costs and that sometimes unscrupulous animal doctors may be taking advantage of people who dearly love their pets.
