I would rather be a citizen of the USA. Then I could live in The Villages full time.

Sadly, as a Canadian, (and Brits are the same), the U.S. Government only allows us to stay in the USA 182 days in a calendar year. There is no type of "retirement visa" available to us. Even though we own property and pay real estate taxes in Florida.
