On year I was flying into San Francisco and we were coming in from the south over Moffett Field. The pilot came on the speaker system and said a plane was taking off from that field but he was not allowed to say what type of plane it was. He said that if you see it you will know what it is. It was a U-2 and we had a perfect view of it taking off and then going almost straight up and out of sight. Very impressive as is this video.
