You're probably right about having the right roll. I was hoping that with so many people from "The North" moving to TV, that someone would have figured a way to import them down South. As I've stated, it's been over 50 year since I had what I remember to be a hoagie. I have no idea of what type of meat was on them and if it is even available any more. You know, with all the FDA restrictions and all. Those meats and cheeses may have been from old family recipes and not allowed to be sold any longer. I sure do miss them though.
