Everybody adapts in one way or another. After a couple of summers trying to play golf in the heat, I decided I just wasn't going to....it's too hot outside for me. There's lots to do indoors, either shopping, playing billiards, going to the movies, visiting with friends, etc. It was hotter but less humid in CA where we lived, and I found things to do that didn't have to be done outdoors in the heat, though there are many more things to do here! I must say that each summer the heat feels more tolerable, but not enough for me to play outside for long. Others don't seem to be bothered at all. There is never a shortage of things to do around here, outside or inside, you'll either play outside or inside, but you won't be bored....and there is no snow to shovel....well, not usually..
....we did get a dusting this winter (actually more ice than snow, but still, it was white and for a girl from CA, it was a treat, a cold one, but still a treat....
