IMHO every Village will claim that they're the best!
That said, experience suggests that the newer Villages are the most lively. Part of that, I suspect, is that many of our newest Villagers are "youngsters!"
But, many older Villages have very close-knit communities. My own street of some 16 houses has residents ranging in age from 56 to 83 or so. We pay little attention to the small age differences, and revel in the closeness of our friendships. It helps tremendously, I think, that all but our youngest neighbors, moved here within a couple of months of each other!
Bottom line, Leon, is: You're going to love it here no matter where you are!
