Lets jump on the victim Yoda
"You must be against guns" No their against dead.
I am sorry but anyone who does not have their firearm secured in public should loose their carry permit. It is a right to bear arms not a right to endanger. If the society wants to maintain its right to bear arms then it needs to be strict with those who jeopardize others by not doing so in a safe manner. When a person is accidently shot they are just as dead. When that happens you will invariably read how something like the wall mart incident happened in the past. People who don’t act responsibly need to not be given a pass as they are jeopardizing the continued rights of those who do. It is the acts of such people that cause the statistics that lead to anti-gun legislation. I knew a child killed by an accidential discharge by an untrained gunowner, it was an accident he is just as dead.
Manditory safety training should be instituted before a carry licence is issued. There are alot of bad drivers out their but think of how many there would be if a licence had no written or road test?
