It is amazing what is going on out there.....

This one I just became aware of and thus far it is only in two states but nothing to stop it from growing...

"Now, TracFone Wireless has announced a new lifeline program that provides a free cell phone and 60 minutes of free monthly time for emergencies for low-income, elderly or disabled citizens. The program allows users a phone for access to their children's school, ensuring potential employers have access to those seeking employment or for emergencies such as a flat tire or disabled vehicle.
Lifeline spokesperson Angelica Lopez said the program is intended for those families who are qualified under the guidelines for federal government assistance."

This is being done through an agency that has been around for quite a long time that initially was to insure that phone service in certain areas was affordable.
