TV insurance gave me a rough estimate of about $600 to insure a LSV. Though in TOTV some apparently get insurance cheaper, adding $50 plus for tags each year makes it less attractive.
Still, I like the dual range switch on the dash to go from golf course (low speed) to the road (high speed). For those who modify their carts to go above 20, this would be a safer alternative since it is a bit sturdier by design (better brakes, handling etc).
