When I was a kid, my favorite comfort foods were homemade Toll House cookies-- regular, frozen or the dough-- or vanilla wafers topped with peanut butter. Did anyone else put peanut butter on vanilla wafers?
Now, soft, hot breads. Ice cream. Dark chocolate. Comfort meal -that's italian. Comfort drink-- red, red wine. Or a frozen concotion.
Comfort holiday-- Well this is one of them.
