Well in a shallow and economically naive way she's not entirely wrong. Putting money in the hands of people without it stimulates the economy in the sense that now these people use this money and business activity is increased. In the long run, though, it is not self-sustaining and poor governance.

It's far better to cut the taxes of business and cut the capital gains taxes, which would spur business growth and capital investments; which in turn would generate lasting jobs.
