BTW, I can explain one of the incident reports.
On our last trip to TV, my sister-in-law and her hubby, Gloria and Dennis, visited us. They parked the car in our driveway behind us. One day we all left the house in our car. Dennis pulled his car out of the driveway, waited for us to pull ours out, then pulled back in. Some time during all this, I ran back into the house to get something I forgot.
Well, somehow this all looked suspicious to a neighbor, who called the sheriff's office to report a possible break in. The responding officer looked up Dennis, I guess from his AL license tag and called his home. We found this out when Dennis' son called Dennis to say the police down in Florida were looking for him and wanted him to call in. Dennis called in and the officer asked where he was and if he had been to our home and why. After Dennis explained, the officer asked to speak to my husband or me to verify the story, and that we really knew Dennis and were with him.
My takeaway was: Wow, we have great neighbors for looking out for us and we have a great sheriff's department for their follow-up to determine what had happened.
So I guess an incident report was generated. Needless to say, no charges were filed.
