If you are having trouble with that hard seat, you might want to consider getting a better seat. When we got our reconditioned cart from Grandpa & Grandpa's Village Buggies, we got an upgraded seat. It has that memory foam and is fantastically comfortable. It also has a springy back that functions like a shock absorber for all those bumps. I'm sure they could put one in your cart.
