You may have heard that librarians are novel lovers, always willing to help you pick out something from the fiction shelves when you are in search of a page-turner that fits your favorite genre. -- Thriller? Mystery? Romance? History? Whatever suits you.

But don't forget that librarians not only love to help you pick out books, they also love to help you find answers to questions. It has been said, "When you absolutely, positively have to know, ask a librarian." That's not because librarians know everything. It is because librarians know how to track down information and find answers in recognized reference sources, including databases, that you may not be able to find with just a basic internet search.
