My neighbor and I have each decided to landscape in two totally different styles/directions, and I want to make sure that I have all my land. Right now I am not sure. I have also heard that if I don't claim all my property that my neighbor can claim it in 7 years as theirs. I also think some bushes, etc are planted on my side.
Thanks!

Army Guy:

I have a friend who lives in a similar situation. I got the impression from him that he didn't own that property out by the end of street but was responsible for taking care of it up to the center of the street. You might want to check into that as well. Most CYV are set up that you maintain property that is your neighbors, both inside and outside of the fence. Some, but not all, corner and end lots are the exceptions.

Go to the Sumter County Property Appraiser website and look for the map of your property, it will give you a real good idea of your property lines.
