Are you kidding? I and every other worker have paid into medicare and social security my whole life. Do I expect my money back plus actual interest? YES. BUT.. I (NOR my family) do NOT deserve anymore back than I paid into either program. If I get more back than I paid, I am taking from someone else... it is that simple and that is not right.
If I need more I should work longer, save more, or rely on VOLUNTARY charity.
I agree there needs to be BASIC health care for everyone to prevent disease. That is a legitimate government function.
Why do the liberal entertainers go outside of America to adopt foreign babies? Maybe you should ask your adoption question of them. MANY Americans adopt American children, including those that cannot have biological children. There are waiting lists to adopt all over this country. Stop using straw men arguments.

I am against the government confiscating more and more of my money in the interest of social justice. I gladly pay for necessary government services such as police, fire, military (although I would cut our military budget in half at least), but you know our governments, state, federal, and local, have long ago gone far far beyond using tax money only for those essential services. our social welfare programs are OUT OF CONTROL.
I am against corporate welfare just as much as social welfare. It is not right to give tax money to corporations in the name of job creation because "some other city or state" will give it to get that company. NO tax money from any city, state, or feds should be given to companies.. period!!
I am not an abortion opponent..I am opposed to the federal judges creating constitutional rights. you assumed that just because I used abortion as an example of federal expansion. Again.. you do not know me and assumed incorrectly.
I support state's rights.. like adoption rights, custody rights, zoning, theft, rape, murder, assault, fraud, and most other crimes, state government exercising the power of the people should decide the abortion issue.
My positions are completely consistent.
