I've been following this as it's been in the news *a little*, locally, the past few days.

Just wait until the popular vote goes opposite the way a state votes and that the *brilliant* - yes, BRILLIANT - system that the Founding Fathers enacted would have produced a different President.

There are damn good reasons for the Electoral College system that have NOTHING to do with 18th-century communications delays!
