I rode along as a spectator since I don't play golf. They placed a "spectator" tag on the golf cart. I guess they wanted to make sure I didn't get out of the cart and hit a few. I enjoyed watching. Maybe I need to consider taking up the sport. Can you teach a 68 year old to play?
Can you teach a 68 year old to play? OF COURSE! Come and join the fun.

Our dear daughter rides along with us sometimes when we play and they always place a spectator sign on the cart. I think that is to reassure other groups that we are not a fivesome and we will not hold up play.

We played with a threesome, a grandfather, his son and his grandson last year and the child played dangerously and kept practicing his swing close to the golfer on the tee box while that golfer was setting up. He hadn't been taught good golf manners and it was just not much fun to be with him or his kinda smart aleck grandfather. He was told that he could not let his grandson play but he allowed it. They had a spectator sticker on the cart.

But...that only happened once. A person subjected to that situation really has no choice but to endure it...or make a scene.
