I call them yard sales because we never had a garage in our early years. I guess the name "yard sale' comes to mind when I think of having a sale.
We, like most, brought too much stuff with us when we moved here. We thought we were being smart when we donated truckloads of stuff to our local battered woman's shelter thrift store. It turns out we needed to make 2 or 3 more trips to the thrift store to pare down so we could fit everything into our Villages house.
Anyone out there need a bunch of stuff?
