there was a long island club when i first moved here two years ago which met at lake miona, but i think it folded because everyone wanted to attend but not too many wanted to help with the work. there is a very big new york state club which meets the first wed of the month at hacienda rec center, but it would be nice to have our own long island club, too...maybe just a once a year long island christmas party or reunion would be easier...a great way to make friends with whom to spend time the rest of the year!
