Just tried out a new app called iHurricane HD. Not that anyone there would care to track hurricanes, but you never know.
It has some rather nice features, including email notifications, if you want them. Will use your current location to determine how far you are from the hurricane, etc.
This is an iPad app, but there is also an iPhone version.
