We were some of the first in our neighborhood. Once there were enough homes occupied we organized a block party in the street. It was a bring your own drinks and a bag of munchies to share. That group grew to over 100 in about a year. We have 8 or 10 close couples from the original group we do things with on an almost daily basis and get together with others often. It took a few weeks to feel at home.
As for the pools the CC have more shade than most but a priority membership is required. The others have a building on 1 side and shade can be found early or late in the day depending on config.
