Speaking of cheap vacations , I have two sets of friends that come to the Villages for two weeks and one month respectfully.........They both rave about what a cheap vacation it is and they have no intention of buying anything here ......... I agree but the Developer knows many non buyers become buyers..
I vote for raising golf and pool fees for visitors and renters to a level that supports pool monitors to a full time level to police our amenities..... .I agree.
ALSO stop handicap stickers on golf carts until such time that they can be monitored .........Supposedly they can't run their carts to within 15 ft. of the greens , no one adheres to these regs. I actually saw a guy (who could walk better than I can) drive over a green to get around a golf bag laying the edge ..... I have golfed with many handicapped golfers. Never have I seen any infractions.
Again I vote to set aside one or two courses for handicapped golfers.......... I am not yelling but I strongly disagree for many and varied reasons. I was handicapped myself for a while. I could still play but not walk any distance. However, I was able to continue playing in my usual foursomes with my friends.
I know this isn't a popular view but the only other alternative it is to give the Ambassadors (hallway monitors) some authority so they can escort violators off the course.......... I agree wholeheartedly regarding giving ambassadors more authority on the executive courses. This should not be limited to handicapped violations.
Ok , Start yelling , If you don't agree something must be done, then lets hear your ideas...........
