Yes, quitting smoking is the smartest thing to do but that's not going to happen for everyone. Smokers need to be considerate by using ash trays and putting butts in their pocket or trash receptacles (only if sure they are totally snubbed out).
I've stepped on spit out chewing gum more than once here... If only.....
