Interesting article. I'd certainly like to see more of what was the debate surrounding the Ammendment. So far all I've seen is what the writers of The Daily Show dug up in quoting a Senator from back then who made about the most racially disgusting comments one could imagine about how we would be polluting the races from "the highest caucasion" to "the lowest Hottentot"..
