2 nights down, and 6 to go. That's us at TV on this trip (as we get closer to retirement and a one-way ticket to Paradise.
Played golf the first 2 days. Played with 2 different couples, and each time had a wonderful experience. The people here are SO nice...the Golf Ambassadors, too. Dinner at Cane Country Club the first night. Dinner at Spanish Springs the second, with a Rob't Duval moview afterwards.
Went to TV's Barnes & Noble today to buy a Barron's newspaper. Of course, I just had to buy 3 books, too. (I should own stock in B&N). Anyway, the counter sales clerk at TV said B&N here had a hard time convincing B&N corp. headquarters that it doesn't make sense to keep the TV store open until 11 pm. Hq. finally listened and the local store now closes at 9 pm.
We're staying in a Lantana model at Creekside Landing. Enjoy the patio overlooking Buena Vista, and all the to-from golf cart traffic with everyone wearing a smile, just tooling along!
We're meeting a recently-moved-here couple tomorrow (Mon.) for lunch at Lake Sumter Square Veranda. That should be fun, hearing their story. Everybody has a story. So wonderful!
We sure hope to meet-up with Kathie's gang one night. We met a few of them last year, and it was a treat.
We're so sorry that Gracie, Henry & Helene aren't here at the time. We always laugh a lot when we're with them 'back home.' Some day we'll be at TV when they are, and then it will be complete.
