I am a speech therapist working in an outpatient hospital setting and we have a saying (from Man of La Mancha) "Whether the rock hits the pitcher or the pitcher hits the rock - it's going to be bad for the pitcher." Does Florida have a helmet law?
They keep trying to get the one here in Michigan repealed.
If you have ever worked with anyone with a severe head injury from
not doing something as simple as wearing a helmet (because it's HOT!!!) you would do as much as possible to limit your injuries if you rode a motorcycle! (Needless to say, none of our kids were ever allowed to ride one unless they bought it, they paid the insurance and they moved out of the house!!)
Just my own personal pet peeve...
