Thank you for the update, Chi-Town.
I was in an interclub golf tournament today with LGAs from several clubs. The group behind us got way behind and we wondered why we didn't see them even when we could see two holes behind. Found out afterward than one of their carts had overturned. The ladies were thrown out of the cart, but thankfully suffered only scratches and bruises. That put the motorcycle accident in the forefront of my mind. On the drive home, I hoped to logged on and learn that the motorcycle driver had similar good fortune.
The cart driver reportedly was not driving fast or recklessly. She drove into the rough to find an errant shot. The rough was cut very high! The cart hit rock that wasn't visible above the tall grass.
When things like this happen, it's good to remind ourselves that careful is active, not passive.
Let's all be careful!
