The local fire department where this church is had a spokeswoman on the local news who said that local law forbids burning of books because of the ink in them. She also suggested that the F.D. would intercede to stop the book burning.
You would think that this would fit in though with the time and place restrictions on free speech. This is sort of like yelling "terrorist with bomb" at a NFL football game. It is extremely stupid and a dangerous thing to do. Plus, it is an action which goes beyond just mere speech.
