In my eyes and to my ears this woman expressed her frustration with waiting for promises unfullfilled and unrealized, and wondering how much more her family had to endure in waiting for this utopia unrealized. The Presidents response was smoke and mirrors and had nothing to actually ease this woman's real concerns. It was a classic Obama farce. To get anything else out of the exchange, to me, rather naive.
