BTW, I used to love that song because I could do all of the lyrics and keep up with the very fast pace of the song. Couldn't carry the tune, but could keep up on the lyrics.
Did anyone else do this? If not, try it sometime. It's fun. The two hardest parts are:
And when the masquerade is played and neighbor folks make jokes As who is most to blame today
and
And when the morning of the warning's passed, the gassed
And flaccid kids are flung across the stars
It takes practice to do those lines as fast as the song goes without garbling the words and without a cheat sheet.
