How's that for a start?

It would have been a terrible scene. The woman breaking down and hysterically crying out,
"No!!!! I'm a little frustrated, but I know it's going to take longer for employment to catch up with the the other improvements in the economy. Pleeeease don't give up on the path which has worked thus far, just because there are some loud people out there, (who have also benefitted from, and will continue to benefit from those actions in the future), who just like to complain and criticize. Their formulas are not magic, and you are already taking the best elements and incorporating them in your programs. NOBODY would even be remotely suggesting that the recession was over were it not for the legislation and other steps pushed by the administration in eighteen short months. I realize you could have been wishy-washy and tried to please everyone, but you've had the courage to say and do the things that have to be said and done to get us out of this mess. Instead of hearing nothing but 'no', I say 'yes', stay the course, and thank you Mr. President"
