Default Buttonwood shortcut to CR 462 . . .

As you may know, there is a shortcut to CR 462 through Buttonwood that can save residents in Buttonwood, Pennecamp, St. Charles, Poinciana, Sunset Ridge, Sunset Point, Liberty Park, St. James, and Tamarind Grove Villages several miles of driving to and from the several churches (St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, The Christian Life Church, a Lutheran church, a Community church, and the new Village of Faith Church), the new community center, the new library, the new Sweetbay (to be built), Route 301, and the Florida Turnpike. From St. Charles you go west onto Tamarind Grove Run, then right onto Carriage Hill Drive and you come out the back gate onto CR 462. The gate is currently being used for construction. The Morse family was originally planning to leave the gate open to residents once the construction is completed but now they are having second thoughts.

We think this gate should be left open for the Villages listed above to allow residents to get to everything west and south of this part of TV without having to take Buena Vista to 466A to CR 462 (across from the library on 466A) and beyond. We are building in Pennecamp and will be going to the new Village of Faith Church that just opened this past week. When the new Sweetbay opens this shortcut will make it the closest grocery shopping for most residents in this area.

All the churches on CR462 and Sweetbay (?) are getting together to ask the Morse family to reconsider leaving this route open permanently. Overwhelming support from TV residents would really help them make their case. To those of you who live in this part of TV, would you support keeping this route open? If so, please voice your support on this thread.

Thank you.
